Program Innovation TradeOne has a long history of being the leading innovator in the field of trade promotion - in program design, technology, and program management. Prior to the existence of TPMA as an industry association, TradeOne recognized the great need for trade promotion education and instituted a series of training workshops across the country, providing vital information to hundreds of channel marketing personnel. These "Strategic Value of Co-op Advertising" seminars were attended by hundreds of new and existing industry executives in the United States, Canada and Europe. One of TradeOne's most notable achievements came when Intel Corporation sought ideas on branding their chips, after they had decided to stop referring to them by x86 number names, which their competitors were copying. In fact, now famous legal action enabled major Intel competitors to not only build identical products, but use those same numeric product names. Noting that the defining role Intel's chips played in computers was similar to the role cotton and wool play in clothing, TradeOne's consultants recommended that Intel adopt an "ingredient" co-op marketing program similar to the ones used in the fabric and carpet industries. From that suggestion grew the largest and most successful trade promotion program ever, Intel Inside®. Now, as it has always been at TradeOne, our goal is to put our program management executives - the industry’s thought leaders into action around YOU, our client, to understand your program needs, business requirements and competitive arena. Only TradeOne, with the emphasis we provide to each individual client, can actively innovate and provide a flow of ideas, concepts and recommendations that will give you a distinct competitive advantage. Today, TradeOne continues this tradition of innovation with OneSourceTM, our new initiative to tie all channel programs together in a single package with integrated workflow, reporting, web interfaces, customer service, and analysis. |
